Ballroom Brawl 2: Vice City

Veronika ViceIt is generally stated that the only guarantees in life are death and taxes. But when Benjamin Franklin spoke of these two certainties, there’s one more he forgot to mention.

Veronika Vice and Nicole Matthews have been rivals since day one.

Whether it began while both were training at the ECCW SLAM Academy, or upon graduation when the Women’s title (then known as the SuperGirls title) came into the picture, these two wrestlers have been at odds. For over half a decade, the two fought across Canada. They even faced one another in Las Vegas!

In 2011, Veronika took time away from the ring and focused on other ventures and opportunities. For a while, it seemed like one of ECCW’s most longstanding rivalries was coming to an end. When she left, both her and Nicole shared the record for most title reigns by way of being champion on three separate occasions. Nicole would go on to win the title for a record fourth time in 2013, with Ballroom Brawl 2 marking her 476th day as champion. The current record is held by KC Spinelli at 512 days. But whether Nicole is concerned or has even been made aware of this fact is irrelevant until after BB2. For standing across the ring at the Commodore Ballroom will be her greatest foe and biggest threat.

Veronika Vice is back. She is back and wasting no time in gunning for her bitter rival. The ECCW Women’s title will be on the line, and you can be sure that a lot of pride will be on the line as well.

After all, they’ve been doing this since day one.
