Everyone in attendance at the Bridgeview Hall in Surrey witnessed a magical moment last month.

All of the training, strategy and perseverance paid off for Ice and Cole Bishop as they were crowned the new ECCW tag team champions. Pop Culture can sing, they can dance and they took out Kenny Lush and Nelson Creed cleanly 1, 2, 3.

Bishop and Ice's superior conditioning aside, there was one main reason why Creed and Lush lost the tag team titles - Nicole Matthews.

We all saw Nicole get involved in Lush and Creed's match for no real reason whatsoever. Sure, she might be "dating" Lush but she is not a manager, does not have a manager's license and should not have been allowed at ringside.

Unfortunately, Kenny Lush is too head over heels in love with Matthews to keep his woman in line and it cost him. Not only did it cost him his friendship with Nelson Creed, more importantly it cost Lush the ECCW tag team championship. Quite frankly, I don't think she's worth the trouble.

"Bomber" Nelson Creed was justified in walking out on the match. He finally realized he's stuck with a partner who has a brain the size of a peanut. Lush chose a woman over tag team gold and it's a decision that I think will haunt him for the rest of his career.

There's a reason why Matthews was kicked out of Chill Town. She's a great athlete but she's simply not that smart. She cost Chill Town matches on numerous occasions and losing is not an option for the most elite group in ECCW. Matthews has been severely outclassed by Veronika Vice in recent weeks and we've seen Lush adopt a gentler attitude. That type of attitude might help him win Matthews' affections but it is directing his career right down the toilet.

Take a recent match that Lush had with Memphis. Lush became distracted by Chill Town members who were scouting the match, then, for no apparent reason, decided to attack the Chill Town members along with Memphis. Definitely not the brightest move for Lush.

Did he forget that this was a match for the ECCW heavyweight title? Instead of sucking up to the fans and helping Memphis, he should have focused on beating Memphis and winning the top prize in ECCW. But no, Lush was trying too hard to impress Matthews with his sensitive attitude. And even worse, he was trying to suck up to the fans.

This Saturday, for some inexplicable reason, Lush is getting a title shot at Scotty Mac's NWA Canadian Heavyweight championship. We already saw Lush blow a chance to win the ECCW title and now he gets a shot at Scotty Mac? The ECCW booking committee needs to stop sniffing glue.

I can already tell you what's going to happen at the Russian Community Centre this Saturday, Lush is going to lose. There's a reason why Scotty Mac has held that title for so long - he's smart. He knows that holding titles is the only way to make money and gain fame in professional wrestling. Mac will do whatever it takes to keep his belt. Lush, on the other hand, is all googley-eyed over some girl. Get your priorities straight Kenny, or you will quickly become even more irrelevant than you already are.

Maybe Lush and Matthews deserve each other. Both appear to be quite dim, have no friends left in ECCW and seem to revel in the adoration from the fans. Could be a match made in heaven.

Lush likes to say, "Talk is cheap" but so is his girlfriend.

You can take that to the bank because everything I say is GOLDEN... rod.
